Jacqueline Quinn is a north easterner, born and brought up on the coast of Northumberland.
She received her BA in Design from Sunderland University in 1990.
Through the processes of painting and printmaking her work looks to explore the land, sea and history of her homeland.
Her paintings and prints draw on the landscape, sacred symbols and the ever changing colours of the north for inspiration.
She works in monoprint and oils, each piece unique and original, evolving and developing over time, made up of many layers, often using multiple techniques.
She is also and enthusiastic art journaler and teaches and demonstrates some of the hundreds of techniques so everyone can make their own great art!
